Kennedy Rocker

President John F. Kennedy’s personal chair — and quite possibly the most politically significant piece of furniture in American history. After his doctor recommended a rocking chair for chronic back pain, JFK became so devoted to this design that he purchased 14 of them, placing one in the Oval Office itself. He rocked in it during the tense deliberations of the Cuban Missile Crisis. Made by the P&P Chair Company of North Carolina.
